Something not often considered is firing a shot to the centre of mass.
In firearms training, this is the prime target.
The same can be true in boxing.
This is simple and extremely effective. It means that you can target 3 areas along the centreline – the chin, the chest and the solar plexus.
It’s a difficult shot to defend, it’s playing the odds because even if you are slightly inaccurate you still hit the target area and it hurts a hell of a lot if landed sweet.
This is well worth practising and offers you more variation when delivering your power shots.
