How to Fight One-handed

What are some tactics and techniques that you could use when fighting one-handed? This video covers a range of ways to make the most of your lead hand for both attack and defence.

How to fight one-handed

Obviously when we think about the lead hand, most of what we want to do is based around the jab. There are 7 variations, or jab techniques, that I cover in the video. If you want more detail on the 7 jab variations click here.

When you then combine the jab with some other elements like feints, footwork or slips you can really make your one-handed fighting work.

      Hi Mark

      Hope you are well pal.

I’m really relaxed about rear foot position. It can very quite significantly as far as I’m concerned. As long as the front foot stays at 45 degrees..ish then the rear foot can change from second to second.

PS to this – cover some stuff on the rear foot in this – https://www.myboxingcoach.com/boxing-footwork-5-things-to-know-and-try/
