When we think about boxing combos for beginners, we think punches right? Well, of course that’s right, but when it comes to boxing combos you need to think different…you need to think of your boxing combos as skills sequences.
Whilst I’ve called this video boxing combos for beginners, the reality is that these combinations are far more than beginner combos. These boxing combos will form the basis of a boxing style. It’s not like you learn them and then move on to other stuff and you don’t come back to them, these boxing combos are fundamental to a solid boxing style for the long term.
When you start thinking about boxing combos as a sequence of skills rather than simply a sequence of punches, then your boxing style will be much more dynamic and much more effective. By adding in something as simple as a foot movement forward whilst executing your boxing combo totally changes the nature of the combo.

Glad you liked them Owen, appreciate your feedback👍
Thanks again Fran, I’ve been doing boxing training for over 20 years and thanks to your instructions I’m hitting harder with the back hand than ever before, you break down the movement better than any other trainer.
Hello Paul
Thanks pal, really glad to be in a position to help. What I like is that you have a good background of experience but you are still willing to watch a video that has ‘beginner’ in the title – open-minded. Great stuff. Thanks again Paul.
Is there a set of instructions that I may purchase to show how to setup the tape lines on the floor ? Or perhaps purchase one that is already made ?
Respectfully, Bud
Hi Bud
This is a link to a pattern that might help.
